Just testing the new message board to see if I am doing this right.....

Yeah you did fine! Glad you like the new look! Feel free to play around-- there are some cool toys here (I see you found the smilies) like the ability to send a private message to another board poster, or to upload or link to a small image (called an "avatar") to represent you.

Hi Frank!

I just posted some instructions [url=http://www.chatcircuit.com/phschoir/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=42][b]here[/b][/url] for getting an Avatar.

You'll need to find and upload your own image right now. (Hint: AIM Buddy Icons work well.) At some point I'll install some images that you can all choose from, just one of the things I haven't gotten to yet. Razz

If you get stuck, use the Help Me! forum or email me and I'll get you straightened out.

Sorry, everyone! the website was down for a short while, and we have switched webhosts. Unfortunately, the forums are getting spammed with webbot registrations (it's happening all over the web). I'm cleaning it up and will update the forum software to prevent spam activity.

I'm not shutting it down, however.. not yet anyway.

Meanwhile, please say hello and where you are and what you're doing these days! :-)

I still am working in Old Tappan NJ as a typesetter for medical journals.....

Still living in Bergenfield.......

The only thing that is different or has change in my life the past few years is that I now am a proud owner of a cat..... Yes... me the dog lover, has gotten a cat..... With me not home most of the day - I was not able to have a dog. Since a cat is more independent, it was more fitting to my lifestyle. Okay now that a year has passed since I got her, we have established an understanding of each other....... I have grown attached to her and coming home with her waiting for me at the door brings a smile............

Her antics make me laugh at times and she knows how to get my attention when she wants something.... like I said we now understand each other.....

Now if we can get everybody to write every once in awhile to keep this website ALIVE.......... it would be great.......... so how about it everyone...... Even if it is a little sentence of a hi or something!!!!!

Let's hear from you!!!!!!!!!! [b]NOW![/b]!!!!!!!!

P.S. - I know this is taboo - but any word on the choir video?????????

Hi Valerie! One of these days I will probably end up with a cat too-- I have a good friend who has 6 of them, and he loves each one as if they were his kids. Like you, I'm really a dog person. Also a bird person-- I'd love to have a parrot or even a parakeet again. But my lifestyle is so crazy, I'd be constantly calling on my friends to do me a favour and birdie-sit for me.

You'll have to talk to Howard Fields or Dave Comora for that one. They have all the tapes and discs at this point.

Sorry again about the forum spammers, by the way. I may just have to turn off the auto-activate feature of the forum registration-- that way, although the idiots can register, they won't be able to post before I delete them. Real bain in the ar$e but it's epidemic everywhere these days. :-\
